Today marks a major release.
This is not just a visual refresh, it's a comprehensive upgrade that makes the Changelog experience more flexible, more readable, and significantly more controllable from end to end.
But there's one more important shift:
Your Changelog is no longer just a changelog - it has evolved into a full Feed experience for your company.
Your Changelog, Roadmap, and Feature Requests can now live as separate pages with their own URLs, making navigation and sharing much more structured.
For example, you can already try the new Feature Requests experience here:
Go ahead and explore it - and don’t forget to share your thoughts with us.
Where can you enable it?
Switching to the new experience is simple:
Settings → Changelog → Theme Designer → Page layout → Modern
With a single switch, you can move between Classic and Modern layouts anytime.
What’s new in this update?
1) Brand-new Modern page structure
With the Modern layout, two visual styles are now available:
- Full style
- Minimal style
You can also directly control layout elements such as:
- Content width (slider-based)
- Header height (slider-based)
- Header background image (upload or URL)
- Font family selection
These controls make visual customization significantly smoother and more intuitive.
2) Easy theme color pickers
Theme management has been heavily improved.
You can now:
- Start quickly using predefined color palettes
- Manage individual colors in advanced mode:
- Main accent
- Secondary & borders
- Page background
- Body text
- Header text
The easy theme color pickers are now genuinely practical for daily use.
3) Automatic light/dark mode with visitor control
With the Modern theme:
- Automatic light/dark adaptation based on device settings
- Separate palette control for light and dark modes
- Optional Auto / Light / Dark switch visible to visitors
This improves both brand consistency and user comfort.
4) Much more flexible navigation tabs
Navigation is now fully modular.
You can:
- Enable or disable Changelog / Roadmap / Feature Requests
- Reorder tabs using drag & drop
- Customize tab names
- Set the default landing tab
This makes navigation more product-focused and customizable.
5) Page-level configuration control
Each page — Changelog, Roadmap, and Feature Requests — now has its own independent settings.
You can configure:
- Page titles and descriptions
- Sidebar position (left, right, off)
- Filter placement (below header or sidebar)
- Filter visibility (menu or always open)
- Visitor tools (search, date filters, categories, etc.)
- “Suggest an idea” prompt visibility
This level of granularity allows each page to serve a distinct purpose.
6) Improved multiple selection experience
Filtering behavior now supports true multi-select interaction.
Users can:
- Select multiple categories simultaneously
- Clear selections with a single click
- See visual category indicators
For teams using multiple widget selections, the Modern structure also ensures a more consistent overall experience.
7) More accurate preview and live alignment
Preview inside the Theme Designer now reflects:
- Modern metadata
- Updated color systems
- Real layout behavior
In short:
What you see in the panel is now much closer to what users actually see live.
A Bigger Shift: Changelog → Feed
This release introduces something bigger than UI changes.
Your Changelog is now evolving into a unified Feed experience for your company.
Each section can live on its own dedicated page:
- Changelog
- Roadmap
- Feature Requests
Each with its own shareable URL, such as:
This structure makes your updates:
- easier to navigate
- easier to share
- easier to organize
- and much more scalable as your product grows
Try it now
We highly recommend switching to the Modern layout and exploring the new structure.
