Welcome to the most important part of your AnnounceKit journey — Posts!
The Posts section enables you to:
- Manage all of your posts in one place
- Filter posts by label
- View post performance stats by clicking View stats on any post
To get started, go to Posts and click "Create a new post".
Anything you create here will be distributed through AnnounceKit channels — widgets, standalone newsfeeds, boosters, and email / email digests.
The post editor is organized into five areas. Click any link below to jump to the detailed guide for that topic:
1) Post Content Editor
Use the content editor to write and format your post — add images, videos, links, labels, CTA buttons, use the AI Assistant, or start from a template.

2) User Segmentation
Send targeted announcements to specific groups of users by adding segmentation rules to your post.

3) Boosters
Highlight important announcements using modals, pop-ups, announcement bars, or email — so your users never miss key updates.
4) Extra Settings
Control publish date, labels, author, cover image, pin to top, expiry date, and more.
Setting | Description |
Publish On | Choose the date and time for your post to go live. Default is the creation date, but you can schedule it for the future or set any previous date. |
Labels | Use tags to categorize and organize your announcements. Add, rename, change colors, and order labels in Settings. |
Author | Personalize your post by changing the author's information. Author details are displayed on both the standalone feed page and widgets. |
Cover Image | Upload a cover image for your announcement. Recommended size: 1200px x 628px, 1MB max. |
Save as Draft | Save your work as a draft to revisit and edit later. |
Pin Post on Top | Increase post visibility by pinning it to the top of your feed and widget. |
Override Post URL and Summary | Redirect your post to a specified URL when clicked, or adjust the post summary for SEO. |
Expire On | Set an expiry date for your post. After this date, the post won't be visible on the feed or widgets. |
5) Post Preview
Before publishing, preview how your post will look in your feed, widgets, and with boosters enabled.
