You can change how your Knowledge Base is titled, how articles are laid out, and whether visitors can search it, all from the Theme Designer.
Open your Knowledge Base and click Theme Designer, then open the Knowledge Base section in the panel on the left.
Title and intro text
By default your Knowledge Base page is titled Knowledge Base. Change the Title field to anything that suits your product, for example Help Centre, Support, or Docs.
Intro text appears under the title, and is a good place for a line telling visitors what they will find, or how to contact you if they cannot.
Choose how articles are laid out
Under View, pick one of three:
Grid — folders shown as cards across the page.
Sidebar — a folder list down the left, articles on the right.
Collections — folders grouped as collections.
Change it and watch the preview on the right to see which suits the amount of content you have. Sidebar tends to work better once you have a lot of folders.
Decide what visitors can use
Under What visitors can use there are two switches:
Search — lets visitors search your articles from the top of the page.
AI answers in search — answers the question directly from your published articles, instead of only listing matching results.
Rename the tab
The name on the tab is separate from the page title. In Menu tabs, each tab has a Tab label field. Leave it blank to use the default name, or type your own, up to 25 characters.
The first enabled tab is the one visitors land on when they open your feed address, and you can drag the tabs to reorder them.
Click Save when you are done. The preview updates as you change settings, but your live page does not until you save.
