If you are still writing your first articles, or you only want the Knowledge Base available to some of your audience, you can hide the tab without deleting any content.

Turn the tab off

Open your Knowledge Base, click Theme Designer, and open Menu tabs.

Each tab has its own switch. Turn Knowledge Base off and it stops appearing on your page and in your widgets. Your folders and articles stay exactly as they are.

Click Save when you are done.

Turning it back on

Switch the same toggle back on. Your articles are still there, and the tab reappears as soon as you save, provided at least one article is published.

A note on drafts

You do not need to hide the whole Knowledge Base to work on an article privately. Articles saved as drafts are never visible to your visitors. Only published articles appear.

So if you only want to keep one article back, leave it as a draft and keep the tab on. Hiding the tab is for when you want the whole section out of sight.
