Ask your users what they want via Feature Requests

No more reading lips & guesstimating importance! "Feature Requests" are now officially live for the Growth & Scale plans!

After beta testing, we are excited to release this feature to the public. Throughout the beta period, we improved the feature based on your feedback. We will enable you to gather & manage suggestions from your users even better, which will make sure that your users are engaged and that will be able to tell you what they want directly. We reduce the friction of user feedback and ranking, which makes it easy to always develop the most requested feature and to see what a user has voted for or liked in your backlog when discussing details with them.

What are they talking about⁉ -> Here’s what we offer!

With Feature Requests, AnnounceKit is with you at every stage of your product development cycle!

➡ You can collect requests from your users with the “Suggest feature” feature that can be added to your widgets and feed pages.

➡ You can enable your community to view, vote on, and comment on feature suggestions made by other users.

➡ You can make decisions about your new features with your community and keep them engaged!

➡ You can use the approval system to ensure that only the suggestions you want to appear on the page do so.

➡ You can add highly-voted features to your roadmap.

➡ You can use the “Generate Ticket” feature to have requests from your users analyzed by AI and obtain a meaningful developer ticket.

If you’re unsure how to get started, we’re including some of our articles below.

Automatically turning feedback into Developer Tickets with fine-tuned AI

Happy Thursday everyone!

🚂<- this is the GPT-4 hype-train

🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏾💨 <- this is us running to put fuel into it!

Our fine-tuned GPT-4 model will generate your developer tickets for you directly based on customer feedback!

Isn't it time-consuming and tedious work to refine the idea backlog and turn unstructured feedback into structured developer tickets?  We agree! This is why we have fine-tuned an AI Model based on GPT-4 to generate developer tickets for us.

Since you’ve been using AnnounceKit since last week to successfully gather feature requests from your customers, you know how long it takes to create the perfect ticket for your developers. Well, now with this new feature, you can generate tickets with the click of a button. That's right - no more manual ticket creation!

Sidenote: If you are not using Feature Requests yet - check out our previous announcement (here).

Our AI knows all the details about your product and user persona from your last updates & website so that it can create the best tickets for you. All you have to do is hit the Generate Ticket button, and the AI will do the rest. Test it! Even we were surprised by how smart it is.

This new feature gives you more time to focus on building great products and giving your customers the best experience. So what are you waiting for? Here is the How to use AI to Generate Developer Tickets and Product Details.

User Feature Requests & Feature Voting are Here!

Did you ever struggle with users not telling you what they need? Do you only collect feature requests internally or via user interviews?

With this new feature, AnnounceKit users will be able to set up a page for their products and services where customers, users, and followers can directly suggest new features and improvements. The tool is designed to make it easy for users to submit feature requests, as well as for product managers and developers to manage and prioritize those requests.

If the feature request is unclear, you can leave clarifying comments and once the feature has sufficient votes you can simply add it to your roadmap.

Wondering how to get started?

The feature will be available for everyone in beta, but in the future availability might change depending on the plan

-> If you're interested in trying out the feature request, please comment "I’m in!" below and we'll share the beta access link with you

Check out our guide on "How to use the Feature Request Tool in AnnounceKit"

Pro Tips:

  1. You can also create a feature suggestion and see how users react to it & how many votes it receives from the audience.
  2. The more users you drive to your "feature request" page the more representative the votes will be & the more effective the suggestions. (We will make positioning easy in the future, but for now, we leave it up to you to tell your users where they can leave suggestions)
  3. If you have wishes for the AnnounceKit Platform, you can find our Feature Requests here 😏

AnnounceKit 2022 Roundup 🎉

Another year has passed, and this time of the year is when we look at ourselves and realize how we made it. At AnnounceKit, we seek ways to “always do better,” so we want to reflect on how far we came for you to do better this year!

In this year-end roundup, we’ll take a look back at the significant updates and experiences that have shaped 2022– all created to better your customer engagements.

Taking a moment to reflect on the past year and share some exciting updates and experiences

It was a year full of significant improvements, fantastic growth, and much joy between you and us. No joy can come out of zero. To bring success and joy to you, we started the year with one– the goal of expanding the powers of our product. As a result, we gathered three infinity stones to complete a significant part of the customer feedback cycle.

  1. Listening to customer feedback 👂
  2. Outlining a public roadmap 🗺
  3. Writing outstanding announcements 📣

Key Updates

Concentrating our main goal of expanding the powers of our product, our effort to improve your experience was our main motivation. With that in mind, our team has grown our feature set with several major updates. And our efforts and motivation finally resulted in a new product concept of creating a centralized place for the customer feedback loop.

1. Product Feedback and Idea Voting

To complete the first step of the customer feedback cycle, we introduced our product feedback and idea voting feature in beta this year. With this development, you can easily create a centralized place for customers to submit and vote on the feature requests they’re most interested in seeing.

And for you, this can help guide your product development and ensure you build the features that matter most to your audience

2. Public and Internal Roadmap

Without completing each step successfully, we wouldn’t be able to reveal and expand the power of the customer feedback loop. The second stage is the second leverage— keeping your customers informed about what’s coming next for your product and building transparency with your audience.

This new addition to the product creates a better atmosphere for your audience where you keep them informed, engaged, and excited.

3. AI Writing Assistance

And finally, the last (but not least) step of the customer feedback loop— making announcements and product updates. Product updates are the phase where we are the strongest and the reason you are with us today. With that in mind, we sought ways to improve your experience with writing product updates. And our little friend is the result of this brainstorming!

AnnounceKit announced AI-writing assistant

Hence, we were more proud than ever to introduce our AI assistant this year. He is not only a major improvement in shortening the time you spend writing product announcements, but he also is a milestone of what will happen in the future.
