🌠 Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) Now Live!

Hi There!,

We are excited to introduce Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for AnnounceKit! This feature empowers larger teams to manage access levels with precision, ensuring team members have the right permissions based on their responsibilities.

Previously, all users had the same access level, but with RBAC, administrators can now assign specific roles to team members, improving security and workflow efficiency.

🔹 Why This Matters & How You Can Use It

Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) helps teams work more securely and efficiently by allowing admins to assign different access levels based on responsibilities.

🔸 Improve Security – Restrict access to sensitive areas like billing, project settings, and team management.
🔸 Streamline Workflows – Allow copywriters to save drafts only, while editors handle publishing.
🔸 Scale with Confidence – Large teams can delegate responsibilities without worrying about unauthorized changes.

🛠 Access Levels by Role

🔹 Administrator – Full access to all features and settings.
🔹 Manager – Can manage content and settings but cannot access billing or danger zone.
🔹 Editor – Can edit and publish posts but cannot change settings.
🔹 Read-Only – Can only view certain features with no editing rights.

For a full breakdown, check out Team Settings:

Hi There ! AnnounceKit's Segmentation Just Got Even Better! 🎉

Hi There, We’ve always had a powerful segmentation feature set, but now we’ve taken it to the next level with exciting improvements to make your experience smoother, faster, and more effective. Here’s what’s new:

1. Personalize Content with User Attributes

Make your content more engaging by using user attributes! For example, have you noticed your name in this post’s title? 🎉 Now, in the post editor, you can easily add attributes like user names, emails, or any other details to your content.

⭐ Quick Tip: Don’t forget to set a fallback for cases where an attribute isn’t available for a user. For example:

Add attributes manually typing like above sample or use the new Add Attributes button in the post editor for quick access.

🔴 Learning: A significant 72% of consumers exclusively engage with personalized messaging

Check:    How Personalized Emails Affect your Campaigns

 2. New Segmentation Attributes: First Seen & Last Seen

We’ve enhanced our segmentation with two powerful new attributes:

🕛 First Seen: Use this to create targeted announcements for newer users or to send NPS surveys to long-term users or however you need.

🕝 Last Seen: Target your emails to recently active users or re-engage those who haven’t been active for a while.

3. Instant Preview of Segmentation Rules

Get a quick look at the impact of your segmentation rules! On the segmentation modal, you’ll now see the number of users matching your criteria. With one click, you can view these matched users directly on the Audiences page.

4.Effortless Segment Profile Creation for Recurring Use

Creating reusable segment profiles is now a breeze! Simply head to the Audiences page, apply your desired filter rules, and click Create Segment Profile. These profiles are now accessible across all segmentation modals, so you can quickly apply the same rules whenever you need them.

 5. Seamless Management of Your Segment Profiles

Manage your profiles with ease! Visit the Segmentation Settings where all your segment profiles are listed. You can edit or delete profiles effortlessly from this centralized location.

These updates are designed to save you time, enhance your communication, and help you achieve better results. Stay tuned for the accompanying visuals for each feature!
