New UI: Fresh, Simple, Intuitive.

Today, we are super excited to give you access to a new version of AnnounceKit - more powerful, more intuitive, and even easier to navigate than before. "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication" - that was our goal when we designed and built our new UI. And we hope you will notice that the next time you log in to your account ☺

🔎  What has changed?

  1. Slick New UI: It's not just a facelift; it's a whole new level of simplicity.
  2. Say Hi to the Left Sidebar Menu: You asked, we listened. Meet our new left sidebar menu that makes navigating very simple & quick.
  3. Smooth Sailing Ahead: Though some of the changes might be subtle, we've worked hard behind the scenes to ensure your experience continues to be smooth.

😇 No Worries

We get it – change can sometimes seem daunting at first. If we compare AnnounceKit to a sportscar, then the exterior has changed, but the engine remains unchanged. The same powerful features you love, now wrapped up in a simple, intuitive UI.

🚀 Getting Started

Upgrading to the new AnnounceKit experience is simple. Log in to your account, and poof 🪄 – the new UI will greet you with open arms.

👂 We Want to Hear From You

We care about you and your experience with AnnounceKit. If you have feedback, ideas, or suggestions, then leave a comment under this post, reach out to our support team at support@announcekit.com, or use the Feature Requests function.

🙌 Thank You

A massive shout-out to our AnnounceKit community. Your feedback & support makes this whole journey a lot of fun 💙

So, sit back, relax, log in, and experience the new version of AnnounceKit 😎

Standalone Widget for Feature Requests

🔊 You asked, we listened. Today, we are excited to announce a new feature for AnnounceKit – the ability to immediately display your feature request form when someone opens your widget!

➿ With this new improvement, you can easily highlight that you are collecting feature requests. We hope that this will boost the amount of feedback you receive, increase user engagement, and strengthen your community.

We’re adding two options to the widget configuration settings to make Feature Requests even better. Now, you can create separate widgets and use one of them to collect feature requests!

➡ Public Feature Request: The widget will display the Feature Request List when your users click on it. They will be able to see the other requests and upvote & comment on them.

➡ Suggest Feature Form: The widget will open with the "Suggest a Feature Request Form" so that you can encourage them to share some feedback with you.

We hope you’re as excited as we are about this new improvement and we hope it takes your user- & community-driven product development to new heights. If you have any questions or feedback, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We're always happy to hear from you.

Segmentation for Pop-ups is now live: Target the right users with the right message

*Feedback from our community*
*Engineers at AnnounceKit HQ*

A week ago, we released Pop-ups. Today we are excited to announce the release of a powerful enhancement to our Pop-ups feature: Segmentation! With this addition, you can send your Pop-up notifications to specific users based on their attributes, as well as choose where your Pop-ups appear on your website or specific widgets.

Key Features and Benefits:

📍Advanced User Targeting: With the Segmentation feature, you can leverage a wide range of user attributes to create highly targeted segments. This includes default attributes such as User ID, User Name, User Email, Widget, Country, and URL. Additionally, if you have user tracking enabled, you can utilize custom attributes to further refine your segments.

✈ Tailored Messaging and Offers: Segmenting your Pop-up notifications allows you to deliver relevant and personalized messages to different user groups. Customize the content, call-to-action, and offers based on the specific attributes of each segment, maximizing the impact of your notifications.

🎯 Targeted Display Options: Choose where your Pop-ups appear on your website or specific widgets. Specify URLs or widgets where you want your Pop-ups to be displayed, ensuring that they are visible in the right context, for the right audience.

📈 Improved User Engagement: By sending targeted notifications to specific user segments and displaying them in the right locations, you can enhance user engagement and increase click-through rates. Users are more likely to interact with notifications that are personalized, relevant, and displayed in the appropriate context.

Getting Started

If you are not familiar with our segmentation feature and are going to use it for the first time, the following article may be very useful for you. Do not hesitate to ask us any questions you may have!

User Tracking&Segmentation

This improvement is based on feedback we received from our community. We encourage you to continue sharing your thoughts, ideas, and success stories with us. Together, we can shape the development of our product so that you have everything you need to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Privacy Settings Improvement: Magic Access Link

We value your security and privacy as much as we value your product updates and company news.

We had several privacy options to keep your announcements private or for internal use only. Now, we're enhancing these settings to open a few more doors for you.

You will be able to add a domain-based rule to your feed that will limit access to your feed page only with the allowed domain extension.

With domain access, people can send a request to access your feed. If their domain extension matches with your settings, they'll get a magic link via email and will be able to reach your feed with this link, only for 24 hours.

Feel free to see more here; it does not require domain access 🤫
