New Improvement: Enhanced User Details Modal

We're excited to introduce our latest improvement: a redesigned User Details Modal with a more intuitive user experience (UX), accessible across multiple pages in the platform! 🎉


What's New?

Our updated User Details Modal provides a sleek, centralized view of essential user information, making it easier than ever to understand your audience at a glance. Simply click on a username or email in relevant sections to open the modal and gain valuable insights.



🔴 Comprehensive User Info
Quickly access key details like:

  • 🔹 First Seen, Last Seen, Country, Browser, OS, and Language (collected via the user's browser).

🔴 Enhanced Data Points
View specific attributes, as showcased in the image:

  • 🔹 User Role, Company Name, Version, Created Posts, Project Plan, and Activity Level and whatever you need to have on AnnounceKit to see full picture of your users.
  • 🔹 Additional attributes tracked through our user tracking feature, allowing you to gather even deeper insights and create targeted segmentation within AnnounceKit.

🔴 Recent Activities
Keep up with user engagement in real-time:

  • 🔹 Track activities like Email Opens, Widget Views, Post Feedback & Reactions, Feature Requests, Upvotes, Comments, and NPS Survey Responses to understand your users' interactions better.

⚡ New Overview Dashboard is coming soon!

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our brand-new Overview Dashboard, which will replace the current Analytics Page. This major update brings enhanced performance, extended data visibility, and new insights to help you better track and understand the value your AnnounceKit project brings to your Customers' feedback and communication.

Below you can find a quick introduction video to walk you through all the new features and enhancements. 


What’s released?

📈  Performance Upgrades:

  • We’ve made significant improvements to our Analytics database, reducing data refresh time to a maximum of 10 minutes. You'll now experience faster loading times and near real-time data updates!

📆 Extended Date Range:

  • The maximum date range limit has been extended from 3 months to 1 year, allowing you to analyze your data over a longer period.

💾 Latest Activities Section:

  • Stay in sync with your project's latest activities with our new "Latest Activities" section. Quickly find out what’s been published last, which users reacted to posts, the most recent feature requests, and more.

📊 New Performance Graphs:

  • We’ve added two new view graphs to help you track the performance of Feature Request Ideas and Roadmap Items. Please note that data collection for these graphs started last week, so you won’t be able to access historical data. Also, views will only be counted when an external user clicks into these items, not just by displaying them from the list.

📉 New Statistics Tab:

  • We’re hard at work on a brand-new Statistics Tab. Soon, you’ll be able to see detailed statistics for Posts, Feature Requests, Users, and Email Boosters—all in one place.

We’re excited to introduce a new feature on AnnounceKit: the ability to export all your feature requests as a CSV file!  

With this new functionality, you can easily download and manage your feature requests offline. Whether you need to perform in-depth analysis, share feedback with your team, or keep a backup, exporting your data is now just a click away.

Here's how it works:

  1. Navigate to the feature requests section.
  2. Click the "Export" button.
  3. Your CSV file will be downloaded.

Streamline your workflow and keep your data at your fingertips with the new Export feature.

📈 Adding Upvotes to Feature Requests from the Dashboard

We're excited to introduce a new improvement to AnnounceKit: the ability for add upvotes directly from the dashboard. Previously, only end users could upvote via the widget or changelog page. Now, you can manually or bulk add upvotes to any feature request from the dashboard.

Here's how it works:

  1. Go to a feature request's upvotes section.
  2. Click the "Add Upvote" button.
  3. A simple modal will appear where you can specify the number of upvotes and the source of these upvotes.

This improvement allows you to easily consolidate feedback from various sources, highlight important feature requests, and ensure they get the visibility they deserve. Prioritize effectively and keep your users' needs at the forefront!

💠 Introducing Categories for Feature Requests!

We have an exciting new release that will help you efficiently manage your customer feedback: Category Filtering for Feature Requests is now live!

This update is designed to help you organize and prioritize user suggestions.

How to start using it?

  1. Label Setup: First things first, you'll want to set up labels for your Feature Requests. Head over to your Label Settings and create or enable Labels specifically for Feature Requests.
  2. Activate "Ask Categories": Next up, hop on over to your Feature Request Settings. There, you'll find the switch to enable "Ask Categories". Flip it on, and voila! Your users will now be prompted to select a category when submitting their feature requests.
  3. Streamlined Submission Form: Once everything's set up, your users will see Category dropdown on the submission form of your Feature Request. They can simply pick the category that best fits their request, making your job of understanding their needs a whole lot easier.

But why is this such a big deal?

⬆ Efficiency Boost: No more drowning in a sea of unsorted requests! With category filtering, you can swiftly zero in on the most important features your users want.

〰 Insightful Analytics: Dive deep into user preferences and trends by analyzing request categories. Armed with this valuable data, you'll be making informed decisions about your product roadmap in no time.

Feature Request Activities Added to Activity Page

We're pleased to inform you about a recent improvement to our platform that enhances your experience with feature requests.

What's NEw?

We've now incorporated feature request activities into our existing Activity Page. This means you can now track user interactions such as suggestions, upvotes, and comments related to feature requests right alongside other activities like feedback, reactions, email status, and bounce notifications.

Why It Matters?

With this update, you gain more transparency and insight into the feature request process. Easily identify who suggested a feature, who supported it with upvotes, and who provided feedback through comments—all in one place.

How to Use It?

Simply navigate to the Activity Page to start exploring these new features. Filter through the activity feed to focus specifically on feature request activities, and make data-driven decisions based on user engagement.
