Previously available for post publishing, we're thrilled to extend this functionality to feature requests, enabling you to engage with your global audience efficiently. 

Here's how it works:

  • Admin Flexibility: Admin users can add feature requests in multiple languages, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all users.
  • Browser Language Display: End-users will now see feature requests in their browser's language, enhancing their experience and understanding.

This update brings greater flexibility and accessibility to your feedback loop, allowing you to connect with users worldwide in their preferred language.

💠 Introducing Categories for Feature Requests!

We have an exciting new release that will help you efficiently manage your customer feedback: Category Filtering for Feature Requests is now live!

This update is designed to help you organize and prioritize user suggestions.

How to start using it?

  1. Label Setup: First things first, you'll want to set up labels for your Feature Requests. Head over to your Label Settings and create or enable Labels specifically for Feature Requests.
  2. Activate "Ask Categories": Next up, hop on over to your Feature Request Settings. There, you'll find the switch to enable "Ask Categories". Flip it on, and voila! Your users will now be prompted to select a category when submitting their feature requests.
  3. Streamlined Submission Form: Once everything's set up, your users will see Category dropdown on the submission form of your Feature Request. They can simply pick the category that best fits their request, making your job of understanding their needs a whole lot easier.

But why is this such a big deal?

⬆ Efficiency Boost: No more drowning in a sea of unsorted requests! With category filtering, you can swiftly zero in on the most important features your users want.

〰 Insightful Analytics: Dive deep into user preferences and trends by analyzing request categories. Armed with this valuable data, you'll be making informed decisions about your product roadmap in no time.

Feature Request Activities Added to Activity Page

We're pleased to inform you about a recent improvement to our platform that enhances your experience with feature requests.

What's NEw?

We've now incorporated feature request activities into our existing Activity Page. This means you can now track user interactions such as suggestions, upvotes, and comments related to feature requests right alongside other activities like feedback, reactions, email status, and bounce notifications.

Why It Matters?

With this update, you gain more transparency and insight into the feature request process. Easily identify who suggested a feature, who supported it with upvotes, and who provided feedback through comments—all in one place.

How to Use It?

Simply navigate to the Activity Page to start exploring these new features. Filter through the activity feed to focus specifically on feature request activities, and make data-driven decisions based on user engagement.

    • For those utilizing user tracking, we've added a handy feature. Simply click on usernames to delve deeper and gain valuable insights into your users.

    • We've revamped our feature request system with added functionality. Now, you can keep track of the total number of feature requests and their respective statuses effortlessly.


  3. 💯 Streamlined UI/UX:

    • Our feature request header menu has undergone a makeover for easier navigation. You'll notice a more intuitive layout, allowing quick access to the 'generate feature request' button. Additionally, a simple click on the three dots reveals a plethora of editing and deleting options.

  4. 👀 Archived Items Management: 

    • Say goodbye to clutter! Archived items are now hidden by default from your dashboard. However, accessing them is a breeze, thanks to a convenient filter for archived statuses.

  5. 📎 Unique URLs for Feature Requests: 

    • Sharing feature requests with your team is now simpler than ever. Each request is assigned a unique URL, facilitating seamless collaboration and communication.

Exciting news! You can now enhance account security by disabling password logins and forcing all users to log in via Single Sign-On (SSO) only.

Benefits:

How to Enable:

  1. Visit "Team Settings."
  2. Enable "Force users to login with SSO" on.

🌐 Hiding Feature Requests from Trials: If you want to share feature requests only with active users, this will solve your request!

Ability to Enable Different Labels for Different Features

With great excitement, we announce a new enhancement for AnnounceKit – the ability to enable distinct Labels for various features!

This improvement is designed for those who utilize AnnounceKit to oversee Posts, Feature Requests, and Roadmaps. You can now effortlessly enable or disable specific Labels, allowing for a clear distinction between Posts, Feature Requests, and Roadmap items.


We recognize the significance of being able to distinguish between various types of Labels, and this new enhancement will make it easier than ever to do so. 

You will be able to quickly and easily discern which Labels are for Feature Requests, which ones are for Roadmap items, and which ones are for Announcements.

➡ Labels will only show up when you enable a label for Posts;

  • Post Editor for labeling
  • Posts Page for filtering
  • Changelog Page for filtering
